Welcome to Our Clinic

Our clinic focuses on caring for injured workers and motor‑vehicle accident patients under Hawaii workers’ compensation and no‑fault/auto insurance. Your care is directed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Board‑Certified (DNP‑BC) and a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), combining advanced medical management with hands‑on musculoskeletal expertise to support safe, timely recovery.

Conditions We Treat

We evaluate and treat a wide range of work‑related and accident‑related injuries, including:

  • Neck and back pain, including whiplash
  • Shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand injuries
  • Hip, knee, ankle, and foot injuries
  • Sprains, strains, and overuse injuries
  • Muscle, joint, and ligament injuries from lifting or repetitive work
  • Nerve pain, numbness, and tingling related to musculoskeletal injury

If you are unsure whether your condition is covered by workers’ compensation or no‑fault, call us and we can help you review your situation.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first visit focuses on understanding your injury, job or driving demands, and overall health.

At your initial appointment, we will:

  • Review how your injury happened and your current symptoms
  • Perform a focused medical and musculoskeletal exam
  • Review prior imaging or reports and order additional tests if needed
  • Explain your diagnosis in clear language and outline a treatment plan
  • Discuss work status, restrictions, and expected recovery timeline

We encourage questions; you should leave the visit understanding what is wrong, what we are doing, and what you can do to help yourself heal.

What to Bring

Bringing the right information helps us avoid delays in your claim:

  • Photo ID
  • Workers’ compensation or no‑fault claim number (if assigned)
  • Insurance card and adjuster/case manager contact information
  • Employer information and/or referring provider information
  • Any imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT) and reports, if available
  • A list of your current medications, allergies, and medical conditions

If you do not have everything yet, bring what you can; we can help request missing records.

Treatment Approach

Our clinic integrates advanced practice nursing and chiropractic care to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based treatment. Your plan may include:

  • Activity modification, temporary work restrictions, and ergonomic guidance
  • Chiropractic and manual therapy to restore mobility and reduce pain
  • Prescriptive management (when appropriate) by the DNP‑BC
  • Physical therapy, home exercise programs, and rehab‑focused care
  • Referrals for imaging, interventional procedures, or surgical consultation as needed
  • Regular follow‑up to monitor progress and adjust your plan

We emphasize active recovery—helping you move better, feel better, and safely return to work and daily life.

Work Status, Forms, and Communication

We understand that paperwork and communication directly affect your income and job security. Our clinic:

  • Provides written work status and restrictions after visits
  • Completes required workers’ compensation and no‑fault forms as part of your care
  • Communicates with adjusters, case managers, employers, and attorneys when authorized
  • Documents your progress clearly to support appropriate benefits and return‑to‑work planning

Tell us promptly if your duties change, your pain worsens, or your job cannot accommodate your current restrictions.
